Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco City Tour

  • Upon arrival in Cusco, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. Spend the morning acclimatizing to the altitude.
  • Afternoon Tour Highlights:
    • Visit the Santo Domingo Convent, built atop the Inca Temple of the Sun (Koricancha).
    • Explore the impressive Inca site of Sacsayhuaman and its massive stone architecture.
    • Continue to Qenqo, Puca Pucará, and Tambomachay, significant archaeological sites outside Cusco.
  • Return to your hotel by early evening.
  • Accommodations:
    • 3* Hotel: Waman Qoricancha or Mataq Wasin Hotel
    • 4* Hotel: Costa del Sol Ramada or Casa Andina

  • 7:30 AM: Pick up from your Cusco hotel for a full-day tour of the Sacred Valley.

    • Explore Moray, the Inca’s agricultural laboratory, and the Maras salt mines.

  • Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included) and leisure time.
  • 2:55 PM or 3:20 PM: Board the Expedition Train to Ollantaytambo and transfer back to Cusco.
