Itinerary

  • 7:30 AM: Pick up from your hotel in Cusco and start the journey to the Sacred Valley.
  • Stop at the Mirador of Taray for panoramic views of the Urubamba Valley.
  • Visit the Pisac archaeological site and its Inca terraces, tunnels, and religious area. Spend time exploring Pisac market.
  • Drive to Urubamba for lunch (not included).
  • Explore Moray, the Inca’s agricultural laboratory, and the salt mines of Maras.
  • Arrive at Ollantaytambo to tour the massive Sun Temple and learn about its history.
  • 7:04 PM: Take the train to Aguas Calientes, arriving at 8:45 PM. Dinner is included.
  • Accommodations:
    • 3* Hotel: Ferre´ Hotel Machu Picchu
    • 4* Hotel (optional upgrade): El Mapi or Tierra Viva Superior

  • Early Morning: After breakfast at your hotel, take one of the first buses to Machu Picchu to witness the sunrise.
  • Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour of the Machu Picchu Citadel, visiting its agricultural, residential, and religious sectors.
  • After your guided tour, take time for photos and personal exploration.
  • Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included) and leisure time.
  • 2:55 PM or 3:20 PM: Board the Expedition train to Ollantaytambo.
  • Transfer by private van back to your hotel in Cusco, arriving by approximately 7:30 PM.
